Cheap long-dated pre-paid SIM
Discussion
Hi all,
I need a second SIM for my second phone in order to activate a specific app. Beyond the activation process, I just need an active SIM that can take inbound calls, but I have no need for outbound calls or data usage.
What is the best provider for this situation? Ideally I want credit that will last 6 - 12 months as well, so I'm not having to top up each month.
Thanks!

O2 'Classic' SIM (3p 2p 1p - calls, texts, Mb data). Cost 99p, load with £10 to activate then it lasts forever from what I understand, no 6 month / 12 month expiry.
Loads on eBay - find one that ships 2 SIMS (one spare) for 99p from this lot:

Seeing the above, I've just checked on the O2 SIM and:Loads on eBay - find one that ships 2 SIMS (one spare) for 99p from this lot:

Classic Pay As You Go
With Classic Pay As You Go, you pay for what you use, as you go. The minimum top up requirement is £10.
If you don't top up, or add a Bolt On at least once in any six month period, your mobile will be disconnected and you'll lose any credit on your account. If you want to be reconnected you'll be given a new mobile number.
So it's £20 per year minimum for them - mind you, once you've paid the initial £10, you might be able to top up with only £5 possibly...With Classic Pay As You Go, you pay for what you use, as you go. The minimum top up requirement is £10.
