Hi folks,
I have just bought a new PC and am up and running ok. I am connected to BT Yahoo broadband via a cabled network to another desk top PC in another room.
It appears that the new PC comes with a AOL toolbar as when I click on the mail symbol to open outlook express it tries to connect me to AOL. Any ideas how to get rid of this?
( I can read the mail thro' the Yahoo page, but I prefer OE )
thanks,
Graham.

One way would be to open C:/programme files/outlook express, and then create a shortcut to the file msimn.exe.
stick that on your desktop, then delete the old one.

Hi Phil, thanks for that. I have managed the first part and got the shortcut on the desk top. Can you explain what you mean by delete the old one, is it the free trial AOL icon on the desk top?
thanks,
G.

Yep, remove the icon that you used to click to get your mail. In fact, do yourself a big favour, and remove AOHell completely. Start/control panel/add remove programmes, and bin it.
