Huawei Matebook screen issue
Discussion
Not sure the exact model, I have a Huawei Matebook laptop a couple years old that has pretty much from new had an infuriating issue whereby the screen occasionally doesn’t work- flickers and is ‘on’, but displays nothing. If I plug a HDMI in to an alternate screen the laptop is functioning fine and fully responsive.
I’ve been advised to power down the laptop rather than put it to ‘sleep’ and this has sometimes rectified it, but sometimes doesn’t. It’s infuriating as it’s so inconsistent that on the couple of occasions I’ve taken it for repair, once powered down and restarted it works fine and I’ve been handed it back- but of course when I need to get something done it’s unfixable!
Anyone know what actually may be happening here and if I can properly sort it?
