I'm putting together a media center PC to plug into my new plasma, and what I'm missing is a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Looking around, unless you want to spend 120 odd quid, they are all huge lumpy plastic monstrosities - I want something sleek, slim and svelte...

So does anyone have any recommendations for an attractive keyboard that wont break the bank? (ie sub £60).

I notice that there's an apple Mac bluetooth one - would this work with a PC?

From what I've read on the net, it should work but a few apple specific keys will be mapped as something else.

I use the Logitech LX700 with my MCE PC...

I paid circa £50 for it... I'll see if I can dig out the link.

Same here, very pleased with it, although the silver paint on the mouse is starting to wear off.

I've got the Logitech MX700 combination. Picked up a mint secondhand set boxed for £30. Mouse is excellent if a tad on the heavy side

I returned to a wired mouse after trying wireless because of the extra weight you have to shove around the desktop. You don't need wireless anyway -- how far do you expect to work from the screen? A wireless mouse is more like a solution in search of a problem.

I've just ordered one of these puppies.

New wireless motion sensor mouse. Can use standing up.

"Gyration's patented motion-sensing technology allows you to mouse around using natural hand movements. Alternate between desktop and in-air use to reduce fatigue and discomfort associated with repetitive motion. It's great for gaming, surfing and more! Gyration's high- power radio transmits data at lightning fast speeds. You'll feel the benefits of smoother tracking, more precise cursor movement and ultra fast response."
