Hi Folks:wavey:

Having sorted my slow PC out, I've decided to treat myself to a nice new case, and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?

Cooling, along with style (obviously:)) are my main concerns.

I was thinking of:

Beantech Igloo 3|http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=301964&cks=PRL

Coolermaster Centurion|http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=300357&cks=PRL

Silverstone SST-TJ01B|http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=302458&cks=PRL

Any opinions greatly recived.

I'll also need a fairly hefty PSU, but have never bought one separately (they've always been included with the case in the past) - any recommendations?

I've seen this 500W Ultra|http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=196736 which looks pretty handy...

Got me one of these when I built my machine:

www.antec.com/uk/productDetails.php?ProdID=01082

Big and heavy (which I like!), loads of room inside and plenty of fans so cooling isn't an issue, and comes with a quality 430W PSU that's probably worth the cost of the case on its own.

Alienware used to use them as standard before they changed to cases with lights (not my thing).

Another vote for Antec cases here. I use them exclusively. When I built my new Extreme Edition PC I used this one:

Airflow was better and I liked the front audio hookups...

I'm gonna be upgrading my case soon, i was looking at this one Passant case

its in the same sort of style as your other choices, and the reviews i've read seem to rate it fairly highly.
Has anyone got one of these?

Third recommendation for Antec kit - good solid cases. I have a Sonata but you would probably be better with the TX above.

Antec also have decent power supplies but alternatives would be enermax, tagan or the Ultra you picked.

Thanks for the replies guys

I've gone down the Antec route and ordered one of these TX 1050B puppies.

Looks the business, comes with a handy 500w PSU and has received some stonking reviews.

ErnestM - if I had the wedge, I'd have gone for one of your AMG monsters - it's the daddy!
