Hi all,

I'm trying to spec out a PC for the lounge. I've got (am getting) am AV amp that will do all the AV switching but (at this budget) couldn't get one with a VGA input

I have the option of s-video or component and need a card for the PC that can connect to this

Suggestions, welcome

Or suggest something else I haven't thought of

The intention is to run all the TV through the PC, there will be a small flat 'pooter screen but main telly watching will come from the monstrous projector in the ceiling (switched by the amp)

Also this isn't the only pooter in the house as the big one will be sitting in the study (networked to the lounge one (and the access point in the loft, god I'm a geek))

Hang on I'll mail or call me...

Alternatively, go Radeon as they are better than Geforce at pushing FMV and perhaps look at an external scaler as the image is going to be massive.

However, this scaling malarky will ultimately depend on the quality of the scaler in the projector.
