Any one know anywhere I can an HP Printer repaired?

One of the plastic bits (a little "tooth" that keeps the paper coming out straight) has snapped off meaning that the pages don't print right.

I would stick it back on but I can find it!

Its about two years old. Any recommendations on repair places?

Thanks,

Phill

What printer is it? If it's an inkjet then they're all pretty much built down to price and difficult to do much with but lasers are generally a lot better & built with ongoing maintenance in mind.

I very rarely see inkjets for repair these days, simply not economically viable by the time labour charges are brought into itm, still do some lasers but generally just paper path parts otherwise people tend to write it off since new ones are now so cheap.

The good news is that it's a HP - they actually make spares available so you at least stand a chance.

Try www.bitsnpcs.co.uk for HP spares and http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main for exploded diagrams & part numbers

Off to the top of my head I can't remember the model number but its one of their PSC (Printer, Scanner, Copier) ones.

Might be an opportunity to upgrade to a USB2 printer though.
