Seem to have acquired this IE trojan although I don't use IE. Seems pretty dormant anway but MS Antispyware doesn't shift it, after finding it and removing it, it replicates itself back again.

Doesn't seem to be anything on the Net about it, just other people who've got it and can't get rid of it.

I think it's ones of those homepage ones and also downloads other things, but as I don't use Internet Explorer it's not doing anything except annoying the hell out of me as I can't remove it.

Any suggestions? Other usual suspects don't remove it either.

Downloadwww.majorgeeks.com/HijackThis_d3155.html

Run it and save the log...it will bring up all the dodgy files.

Post it on a forum like here http://forums.techguy.org/search.php?searchid=1025853or
www.cybertechhelp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75316
and ask for help.

I have the same problem with a nasty BHO bugger.

Spybot etc are not good at getting rid of these bugs

I've gotten rid of it using Process Explorer and Killbox and a little registry edit posted on here.
