Microsoft Virtual Server 2005

Hi,

After trying everything from crying and swearing i am unable to get MS Virtual Server 2005 running.

The application installs ok, it is a W2K3 standard edition (SP1) domain controller. i have checked permissions and all seems to be ok on the surface. however when i try to run the remote administration website i get a http error 403. nothing seems to help this.

Any help wwould be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a trowel though the IIS logs is needed.

Just what the problem was, in case anyone has this problem again, you need to change the default application pool to run as the local system account instead of a network account.

Great, now go and buy ESX Server and use that instead, you know it makes sense!
