Since last night when I've tried to access PH I've had an error page come up from a 'streamline.net' saying that 'this webspace has been suspended due to non-payment'. Both IE and Mozilla give the same page. I've deleted my cache, run AVG, Spybot and AdAware to no avail. www.pistonheads.com is inaccessible, but www.pistonheads.co.uk is fine (hence being able to post this cry for help). Why might I be getting this error? My homepage is set to the .com address. The .com address works fine from my machine at work - anyone got a solution?

TIA :D

Check to see if your "hosts" file has been modified by malware to try and send you to a dodgy site instead of PH.

Where is my 'hosts' file normally Ted? I'm reasonably PC literate, but not quite sure what you mean.

I'm on XP, and checked the 'hosts', 'lmhosts', 'networks', 'protocols' and 'services' files in the 'etc' folder, but didn't see anything out of place - however, I'm no expert, so that doesn't mean that all is fine there! Here's what 'hosts' contains:

# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

Non-authoritative answer:

Both of those look OK. Any other thoughts?

check your speeling

Change the NTL Cache Server you're using also.

NTL operate Transparent Proxies, could simply be that one of those is wrong.

google for NTL proxy and try one of the others listed.

Also, I've been getting this a lot when I click on banner ads:
