Anyone got an ABIT VA-20 Mobo?
Discussion
Just acquired one of these and it won't work! :furious:
Whatever I do (since there isn't much in the way of hard configs apart from the FSB setting) results in a Long Beep--Long Pause--Long Beep repetative beep code as it attempts to go through it's POST.
Am trying to stick a Sempron 2600+ on it c/w some 266MHz PC2100 RAM. The docs are bloody useless, as is ABITs website, to the point whereby the manual tells me I have the option of selecting 100/133/166/200 MHz FSB via the jumpers and the board itself is supposed to be 400/333/266MHz FSB.
Any ideas?

It's never easy is it?
The memory that I've got is marked up as 512MB DDR 266MHz CL2.5 ECC, it's brand new and I would have thought that if the FSB needs to be set to 133 it should work (133 is the default jumper setting for the board anyway), is this likely to conflict with the fact that the CPU is 333MHz FSB?
What a chore, I'd rather build an AlphaServer GS1280 anytime. Enough of these Mickey Mouse PC thingies already.
