Interesting gadget - £50 - suggestions?

Depends what you're into really but how about a replica Nixie tube clock using IPS screens in place of Nixie Tubes. Hmm, just seen that gets a poor review. I bought a similar one from PCB way and am very happy with it.

Was thinking that - Rovyvon are very well regarded (I've bought a couple as a result) and have some extras on some of their models to make them sligtly different - side lights (white, red, and UV).
I have one of these with the UV/Red/White side lights and the SST-20 main light, plus one of these with the CRI main light and UV/Red/White side light.

If you have drill batteries, there are endless gadgets on Amazon which you never knew you needed. Just for Makita, a few examples: cordless tyre inflator, fan, big torches, USB charger ...

I have that one and it is very good. Well the second one was, can't remember the first with the first but it was replaced straight away.

I have 12v Ring inflators in each car and yes, they are good, but since getting the Makita cordless (only £10 more than that Ring) a few years ago I haven't used them at all. Cordless is just so convenient.

OP, what gadgets did you get in the end?

The Ring ones rely on a 12v socket which can be challenging depending on what you are doing. You then end up moving cars about and mucking around to use the inflator.

The cordless Makita one is absolutely brilliant. You don't even need the car keys with you, let alone a 12v supply, which if you are doing a few vehicles at once is quite handy. I have a 3Ah battery on mine and it lasts months.

Given you usually only need to top your tyres up a couple of psi it’s perfect, small and the battery really does last for a couple of months if not more.

Good shout on the cordless inflators. I got myself and a secret santa cheap Chinese ones last year and I've been surprised at how good they are for the ~£20ish that they cost. I topped up 3 cars at the weekend one of which hasn't been used for a while so wanted a few psi per tyre and it was much quicker than with the old cig lighter unit.
