Is it possible to setup a new Gmail account and have my old Gmail address emails automatically forwarded onto to the new address?

I believe you can by forwarding but don’t delete the old gmail account until you’ve done so.

Yes very easy to do provided you still have access to the old account, just setup email forwarding in the old account.
You can never delete the old account though, as soon as you do this you'll stop getting the emails forwarded.
