Phillips 'Smart TV' - Now TV?

Ive just bought a 32" Phillips Smart TV for our kitchen, one of the main criteria for the 'smart' tv was to enable me to utilise my BT subscription and watch the NOW TV via the app.
However, the app isn't pre-installed and there doesn't appear to be any way I can download and install it. I do have a Fire stick, but I was hoping the new TV would enable me to access all my apps (Discovery, Now TV and Amazon) so I can watch all my sports, without switching to the fire stick.
Do I need to send it back, or am I being a bit of a techie dullard?!

No idea on your recent tv.
However, outlet Samsung has progressively lost bbc player, itv, etc etc leaving only YouTube and that freevee crap.
It’s a bunch of arse, Samsung just say “no longer supported” like Apple do. I get that these tech companies want to drive new sales, but buggered if I am buying their one again.

According to https://help.nowtv.com/article/android-tv it should be available to download as long as your TV meets the right specifications. Looks like it is downloaded via Google Play, and not Phillips own App downloader.

As Bluevanman has said - you need to find your app store. On my Philips TV I have a top bar I can move from Home to apps and under there there is (amongst other installed apps) Google Play Store
but I've just gone in to the app store on mine and while I can find NOW (a Sky app) there's mnno NOW TV (even with a search for BT) so it may be a licensing issue.Edited by dapprman on Sunday 21st July 00:14
TV os' are usually terrible, or end up terrible after a few years.
Get a firestick or roku or nvidia shield - these should actually be supported in the future, or if they don't, they are cheapish to replace, or at least cheaper than a new TV.
Buy a tv for its picture quality, rather than the os.

Edit. I know nothing about streaming skys, netflixes or nows. I only watch freeview.
