Ok, somehow a pop up block s/w has gotten hold of IE. I have not intentionly installed a pop ad blocker, and cannot now access some website and as the web site reports it cannot "pop up" the window.
web site is www.thedailydraw.com

Yes i need the million quid!

Does anybody know of a tool that will report what has been added to IE?

If you've recently installed XP SP2 then that will have (I think) installed a popup blocker into IE
A bar should appear at the top of the window saying that a popup has been blocked, if you click on the bar you can choose to allow popup's on that site.

(All from memory, so I could be wrong)

hmm, I'm not sure then.
I'd be rather nervous about using IE until you've checked for any spyware/viruses or found out what's happened.
Installing firefox, as Frik said, is always a good idea too
