Just treating myself to an ICY BOX 16x DVD-R (USB2).

I have Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creater 6 but I was wondering how do I copy DVD's? I want to make some copys of some of my DVD's to take to uni (less risk in case they get stolen) but I have no idea how to do it!

Thanks,

Phill

You sure? Tried copying a dvd (the new XXX) and it just stuck on 41% which is roughly where the adverts finish I guess.

I'll try again!

Failing that, I've heard that DVD Decrypter (Google it) will deal with Copyright issues

Once the vob files have been decrypted to your HDD, DVD Shrink will create an ISO file <4.7Gb which you can burn onto one disk using Nero (DVD Video - Burn Image).

Try backing up Hitch, or Layer Cake these two required a little creative work with a few programs. But basically it is Sony preferring you to rely on your house insurance for rather replacements than backing things up for theft this way.

Ok. Does it matter what compression rating is used?

I take it Automatic is the one to use?
