I record zoom interviews for one of my websites and it’s not great using the MacBook camera.

Any suggestions for a reasonably priced camera to use? Say £250 ish

How about an iPhone mount (assuming you use an iPhone):

Logitech rarely fails to give good results:

A lot of YT videos are now exclusively recording using iPhones in 4K

Use Camo (free software) which uses your iphone and free software on either your PC or Mac. Been using it for several years and it's absolutely brilliant.

Apparantly it's called Continuity Camera but you have to be on Ventura - that's reached the limit of my knowledge though:

This really is the important thing, grab yourself an LED light box thing like this

(first hit on Amazon, not sure if there are cheaper / better alternatives)

And the picture quality will be greatly improved.

Continuity camera works well, you can also turn on the fake studio lighting in zoom settings to improve things too.

The later MacBooks with the stage camera work very well too. It has to be turned on it settings.

They just need to be on the same wifi network. I bought a Belkin adaptor that uses MagSafe and hooks the phone to the laptop screen.

If you put it on its side with the rear cameras facing you, then open an app with camera input it should show as another camera choice that you can select.

It’s wireless, no need to connect a cable.

I use Photo Booth to test, but it should also show up in the zoom video settings section of the zoom app.
