Windoze daft questions - help

OK ok I'm not the most PC savvy person, but some things really get on my tits & I can't find the work arounds.

1: Web browser windows not opening full size, how do I fix that?

2: Run out of hard drive space on pc drive C, drive has a partition I don't use with loads of free space on it, how do I fix that? I'm on my old backup laptop after the PC caught fire :yikes: Win 98 in case you ask

3: Does Ebay have to make you sign EVERY time you visit? seems the same on every PC I use & very annoying

4: What modern/new laptops come with docking stations not bits of wire hanging out the back?

5: How can I cancel the operation of certain keyboard buttons on my laptop? if at all possible

If outlook, you can drag it to a size just smaller than screen (not maximise button) and it will remember that size next time.

If that makes sense.

Expensive ones, usually. Try the Dell latitude range. C series docking stations are far better than the newer D series as the designers seem to have taken leave of their senses.

Toshiba Tecra's and Portege's too last time I saw them. Bit of a knack to dock though.

easiest way is to simply resize the window by dragging each side to the edges of screen.

You can use something like Partion Magic to do this, but why not move some files across. You can easily redirect the my documents folder to another place

If your using a shortcut to run your browser (such as in your quick launch, start menu or on the desktop) right click on it, then in the "run" drop down box, change it from "normal" to "maximised".
