Hi

I'm considering buying the Logitech diNovo Media Desktop Laser Bluetooth|http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=10287&GroupID=20 and have the following questions that I'm wondering if people can help with:

1. I've seen elsewhere wirelss desktop sets that use a non-Bluetooth radio connection technology. Given that Bluetooth exists this seems pointless, but they appear to claim that they deliver a faster connection which delivers a tangible increase in mouse performance/responsiveness. Is this really true given that Bluetooth is capable of 721Kb/s?

2. How large/heavy are these units? Are they usable? (I'm not a gamer).

3. How good is Bluetooth encryption given that my keystrokes are going to be sent over the airwaves?

4. Anything else I should consider?

Thanks in advance.

roadie.

It's not the bandwidth it's the latency that's the issue. Saying that I've used the Microsoft keyboard/mouse over BlueTooth and it seemed fine to me...

Good point, thanks. I've done a bit of research on the latency and it seems that when the mouse sleeps you get about a 0.5s delay. I can live with that as it only happens when you stop using it for a while.
