I've had the same email for many years, The SMTP is provided by namesco.
Please could someone knowledgeable look at an incoming mail from me to tell me why it looks like spam?

Isn't that just an email address harvesting site, signing up your email address to hundreds of spam lists ?

If you're sending to any of the free Microsoft email domains such as Hotmail / Live etc. it's almost guaranteed that your email will end up in Junk.

I've had endless issues with them over the years, and they always direct me to a URL to report mail deliverability issues.

Incidentally - that site mentioned above claims my SPF record is bad but it isn't... (as tested by several different sites, MX Toolbox etc. etc.).

It's worth sending an email here: (image used to protect the email address - you'll get a report back with various checks.)

My learning continues..
I've had the same domain for over 20 years ( prior to that I was a compuserve user) and what happens is that additional levels of security get added to email systems, but I don't know about it, and my provider assumes that I keep up to date.

It took some time for me get with SMPT, and now I've just added DKIM.

Thanks for your help chaps

Yeah it's a bit whack-a-mole keeping up sometimes especially if you're using your own domain and have to a bit more than just enable things.

If you have SPF. DKIM and DMARC setup correctly you're hopefully good to go.

Mine and my mate’s wife have a really odd problem, where about 50% goes to Junk, but the rest arrive normally.

My wife was on Hotmail but I eventually persuaded her to move to her Apple account, she always uses her iPad and she never has issues with other accounts. My mate’s wife insists on using her old Tiscali account and claims she does not have problems when writing to others. I suspect she presses Send and shuts the lid on her Windows 10 laptop.

Has anyone got any ideas what might be happening here?

I have suggested that they both use WhatsApp, but do not get heard.
