Hi all,

The FiL has decided he wants an Xbox. He’ll be buying secondhand and wants physical games - I haven’t questioned this but the combination of credit card / in game purchases / technologically naive pension is a recipe for disaster.

I don’t know what I’m buying. I’m assume stores such as Ce , Envirofone etc are worth looking at alongside eBay?

Is an Xbox one S or X the answer,

It needs to be a complete kit and easy to use.

Many thanks in advance,

Mr E

What does he want to play on it?
What’s he connecting it to?

No idea but I doubt he’s going to be one multiplayer international gaming circles.

He’ll probably run it though a Tv or computer monitor, it’s not going to be sophisticated.

Xbox series X, it's the only one with a drive for the discs. Then just find some games to play. Not all Xbox 360 games are compatible, so you'll need to check beforehand.
