Two days ago had a mail from a chap asking for info about a locomotive, it wasnt from a group ,as such. more a direct question. I didnt have any info at the time but now have it. Trouble id i didnt make a note of his name

Is it possible to look through any 'history' to find him?

Not holding out much hope due gto ,what seems to me. the random way messages from goroups pop up and and seem to disappear moments latwr.

If it was a private message, on the app, the very top right icon that looks like a bit like a horizontal Ziggy Stardust icon (am I getting the right era for your age? ) should launch the messenger app. On a laptop or desktop, look near the top for the same icon.

If it was a direct message it will be in the messages section. If it was a comment on a group it will be in the notifications.
