So that it can be burned onto a CD?

Is it possible?

If so, how?

Cheers :drink:

Yep it can be done. Sound quality isn't as great as a cd but its not bad.

Have a hunt on www.download.com for a DVD Audio Ripper

My Creative Soundcard has recording software with it that allows you to record/save anything playing on the speakers as a wav file. Works ok and simple to do.

Thanks for that.

I have now ripped the 1st Lap from Le Mans, complete with howling Porsche and Ferrari over that funky Michel Legrand acid jazz.

How sad am I.....

Cheers

Depends on the DVD. A lot of music DVDs have an uncompressed stereo audio track that's better quality than CD. Some are 48kHz 16 bit, others 24bit.

Of course, you'll have to convert to 44.1kHz/16 bit to write to a CD, so it's kinda moot.
