So I have just started a new contract and as seems to be the case these days it's BYOD for contractors.

I have an M3 MacBook and connect via Citrix to the corporate network where I use a Windows 10 thin client. I have Teams which works perfectly, but I have to work with several external vendors one of which uses zoom for their meetings.

I don't have the zoom client within my corporate build and it isn't offered also, so I have to use the corporate browser to attend these zoom calls.... However, the microphone always has a red triangle over it and no-one can hear me.

The workaround is to send the invite to my personal mail and switch to my MacOS and open the meeting natively (still in browser), but I still have the exact same issue. If I close the Citrix app before I open the zoom call it works so it's purely down to the way Citrix is handling the mic audio.

I've opened a ticket with the companies service desk who to be fair have tried to resolve, but as they don't use zoom they're just googling possible solutions and everything they have suggested hasn't worked so far which is why I am posting here.

Anyone ever come across this before and know how to get Citrix to play nice with zoom audio?

Have you installed the Citrix HDX plugin?

https://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-receiver/a...

And your versions of Citrix Workspace and Citrix HDX are up to date?

I had a similar problem at my workplace, and installing the HDX plugin was the answer. But do check with your local IT helpdesk first smile
