Auto-forward from Gmail without client side config
Discussion
I think I'm on the right track with this, but if anyone has a better way to achieve my aims then please share.
I regularly book things on-line for my Mum, who is 85. Mostly trains and flights. Currently I use her email address so that she has a record of everything, but this means that I don't (have a record). Then when it comes to follow-up questions and things like entering API I have to get my Mum to forward me all of the emails and the whole thing gets quite tedious.
I think I've figured out a way to make things easier, whilst at the same time allowing my Mum to retain control and privacy over her email account. This bit is quite important.
I have an email domain on Gmail (theflowfamily.co.uk). I am the admin for this and I can set up and manage additional accounts. My plan is to create an email account for my Mum on theflowfamily.co.uk and create an auto-forward rule on this account to automatically forward to both my and my Mum's normal email accounts. Ideally, I'd actually like emails sent to mum@theflowfamily.co.uk to go to 3 email addresses without any forwarding, but I'm not sure if this is possible. In MS Exchange there used to be the concept of an alternate recipient which would also receive all emails sent to an account. That's what I'm trying to replicate. Alternate emails in Gmail look like they are additional email addresses that deliver to the same account, which isn't what I want. My Mum's normal email account is not with Google.
I would then use this email account when booking flights and trains and then both I and my Mum would get the emails.
Whilst typing this, I realised that the client side config thing is a bit of a red-herring and this concept has zero impact on my Mum's current email account (apart from delivering some emails to it).

In Google workspace they have Groups, which is basically a mailing list, mylist@mygoogledomain.com, each user joins it and then gets any mail sent to it.
I tried to set this up so when netflix send a pin code because my daughter is using my netflix account, we would both get the pin email.
But I couldn't get it to work for some reason.

You could check the "access settings" on the group. I think External needs turning on for "Who can post", possibly also "Who can contact group owners".I tried to set this up so when netflix send a pin code because my daughter is using my netflix account, we would both get the pin email.
