I thought this would be simple but apparently not.

The tablet is probably 10-12 years old. I initially tried via Chrome which is my preferred method but only got a blank screen. I thought maybe the operating system out of date so downloaded the updates. Still no joy.

I tried via the inbuilt One Drive app, but that says no internet connection!

I tried to download the Office app but that says my system is no longer supported.

Any thoughts please, am I stuffed?

I'm not that technically minded too.

Ta.

I can access emails via Samsung phone, desktop computer and an 10 year old laptop. Just stumped with this tablet.

I would try opening the Play Store (it's called Android Market on very old tablets) and seeing what web browsers are available to download. You might find something more up to date than Chrome that is still supported on an old version of Android.

If it was a popular tablet, you might be able to root it and install another version of Android, such as Lineage OS that may use a more recent version of Android. This can be quite complicated.

It's new enough to be called Play Store. biggrin

It's showing a few. Firefox being the only one I have heard of though.

I'd try accessing the outlook.com though Firefox. You can add Microsoft email accounts to the Gmail app, but I don't know if that would work on an old version.

That appears to have worked.

Thanks.
