Eero 6+ cannot find internet
Discussion
Our ISP is FibreNest. Existing router is a Linksys Velop thing with a second node. Wi-Fi speeds max out at around 20mbps. I've tried everything to fix it but gave up and bought a Eero 6+, however when I connect it to our internet it says it can't find the internet.
I checked the existing router setup which is setup as DHCP, so I've made sure the Eero is setup the same way, but nothing.
Do I have to disconnect the old router and turn the internet off over night for the existing DHCP allocation to be reset to the new router can connect, or is there something else I need to do?

I’m with Sky currently but use Eero … I have my Sky router connected to my ONT in router/modem only mode, then a Cat6 cable into my master Eero device that then broadcasts the WiFi on its MESH amongst my other devices.
I’ve used the Eeros in this manner for several years now without any issues at all.

I tried using the Eeors in bridge mode and disabled wifi on the original router but the connection drops every few minutes.I’ve used the Eeros in this manner for several years now without any issues at all.
It's like I'm fighting an uphill battle. The original router/hub it slow and the new ones keep dropping their connection.
Bridge mode is incorrect, as is using the original router.
You should use the ont device directly to the eero.
You connect the ont Ethernet port to the wan port on the eero.
Set to automatic.
Then if you like you can also change the said and password to the same as on your original router. This saves having to re-apply WiFi setting to all your wireless devices.
