iPad Pro 13 vs 11
Discussion
Anyone made the switch from 13” to 11” - I’m doing more travelling and the size will be a lot easier given the size of my backpack and cramming change of clothes etc in there.
Might sound like a stupid question but aside from the size is there anything else I should be aware of? In use are there any drawbacks to the screen size? I don’t use split screen, it’s mostly as an email and watching TV type device, but I do try and leave my laptop at home as much as possible.
As an aside, I’m aware there is shortly to be a new M5 announcement so I wouldn’t be doing anything until then.

I have the 11” iPad Pro M4 with the magic keyboard and the screen size is perfect for me in terms of portability and work. I think it will feel small for a while if you are coming from a 13” but you will adjust; when I (rarely) use my MBA 13” it feels huge in comparison. The MBA has 7 charge cycles on it and the iPad has 318, both in 12 months, which shows how much I prefer the iPad!
The 11” iPad with Magic keyboard is definitely my favourite Apple device, and then only reason I would change it was if they released the 12” MacBook with an M chip and revised keyboard…now that would be perfect!

Thanks for the response. I'm hoping I think the same. Try as I might, I really struggle to take the iPad if I have some proper work to do. Attaching stuff from Dropbox to an email for example, it's just easier on the laptop, which is a 14" MacBook Pro. I'm sticking with it in the hope it starts to get easier/more intuitive and I think the smaller iPad will help with that, and it'll be much easier on a tray table for example.
I don't think I'll struggle with the smaller screen.
In the grand scheme of things, hardly a huge problem to have, but glad someone else appreciates why I'm asking
