Laptop backpack w overnight abilities
Discussion
Having swapped jobs I'm looking for a new laptop backpack. I still have the old one but it's corporate branded so not really usable.
I like the ones that have lots of compartments, usable space for 2x 15" laptops and a washbag and space grundypants.
The one I had was a mueslii studio large which tbh i may actually just buy in non-branded form as it was great. If there is something better around I'd love to know.
I don't really want something super stylish, impractical or leather. Not mad keen on using outdoor gear (walking day packs etc) for this use either.
Could spend up to £150 or so but more if needed.
Recommendations please!
Many thanks

I have a Crumpler Proper Road8e that I think is about ten years old and going strong - no idea how many compartments, I suspect I've not found them all yet. The current equivalent seems to be this:

I mostly use Tenba DNA messenger/camera bags now, yt they do a backpack which has lots of space and compartments.

Have a look at some of the Samsonite stuff. I have one that is a good crossover between a laptop bag and a cabin bag (ie, it opens fully for putting overnight clothes in etc). The shoulder strap padding is knackered now though after years of use, so I will watch this thread for replacement ideas!
I was supplied a Gomatic Travel Pack in the 20L size:

It's quite pricy, but perhaps there are deals about.
I really like it, and go away for 2 or 3 night trips with work to London up to a couple of times a month.
I get a laptop and small tablet in the Laptop sleeve at the back, and keep a mouse, ear pods, pass, work phone and a USB cable in the front compartment.
I can easily fit a couple of shirts / pants / socks changes, jumper, shell jacket and wash bag in the main compartment. (And some swimmers and goggles if I find a hotel with a pool.)
If I go for longer or want to take a change of shoes, there is a zip to expand the "suitcase" section.

I use this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/VANKEAN-Backpack-Friendly...
Never heard of the make, but 18 months later and used every day for work, it is still as new.

You may not like it as it is a bit of a 'walking day pack', but if you like lots of compartments, this is for you.

I have the smaller one in the range. I wouldn't want to carry 2 laptops in it, but it's fine for 1 + shoes, all sorts of bits and pieces. Hence this one being bigger.
It even has a compartment specially for your concealed carry. Up to you what you want to conceal. I keep a sewing kit in mine, I think.

I use this for work - plenty big enough for what I need and comfy on my back

I've got a Samsonite Biz2Go and it's brilliant. More than big enough for a couple of nights away in addition to my laptop, notepad, kindle, headphones, chargers and everything else. I use it for work and trips away with Mrs J - it was in London last week for a 2 night break and had space for 2 pairs of trousers and a big jumper that she bought.

Looks like my old one is an Openroad which is no longer available
I bought one of these for a fly-cruise we went on last september. It takes a ridiculous amount of stuff
