Switching from Spotify to Apple Music

I ended up with a three-month free trial of Apple Music so I signed up for that. I'm quite keen to bin Spotify and move over to Apple Music. A couple of issues/questions, however...
First, in the Apple Music app (on my Android phone) there is an option to sync the library from other services e.g. Spotify so I tried to do that, but it just didn't work. Is this a known issue and has anybody managed to get it to work?
Second, I have somehow ended up with my old iTunes library contents showing in Apple Music. I don't want this and I didn't enable the Sync Library feature (I have iTunes installed on my Mac Mini and my Windows PC). I can't see how to stop seeing all the old stuff on my Apple Music app on my phone? What is there doesn't seem to play anyway.
Last - in the Spotify app there is the feature to play via the Sonos speakers in our house. I see no way to do that from the Android app - is this just not possible?
