Yes, we are with them for our holiday let, grudgingly.

In our first year they tried to hike the price massively mid-contract. Now that's not abnormal, but they did the percentage increase on the basis of a theoretical retail price, not the actual price we'd signed up for, meaning our monthly bill went from something like £18 to £27 in one go.

They also loaded some unwanted extras on (free for the first few months, then a hefty extra charge), which you had to remember to cancel to avoid being charged.

I kicked off at them about the increase and eventually won, but the experience was infuriating and the way they were operating was bordering on sharp practice.

I grudgingly renewed with them because they now spell out exactly what the mid-contract rise will be and they were cheaper than the alternatives, but I don't trust them tbh.

Make of that what you will.

Sounds like they are being open now about price rises. But isn't that down to offcon not their honesty?

Probably yes. All broadband companies are terrible unfortunately IME. I wouldn't have stayed with them but the property is in an area that's poorly served by providers for some reason, so there wasn't a huge amount of choice without spending more money.

I have been with them for a few years. I seem to have somehow avoided the big price rises and every time I look at going elsewhere staying with OneStream remains the cheapest using my own router.
