Will be going to ditch sky ...fully as soon as i can get Freesat working in the bedroom for Mrs Fox

History
Had Virgin fitted years ago which was a fully U/G feed split from the wallbox outside to the lounge and another feed to bedroom.
From the dish ther are two feedsone is running into the freesat in the lounge,( to check it works ok) the other to the sky Q ox to .

The Virgin cable and the sat wiring are very adjacent and it is my thought to cut the old virgin feed to the bedroom,to and one of the feeds from the dish

So i end up with one lLNB feed to freesat in lounge..which is working ok

The other LNB feed to the Sky Q box is severed and connected to the virgin cable feed to bedroom in effect Dish -ex sky cable- coonection- to ex virgin cable running into bedroom (box still exists) then to TV via freesat box

Are there any problems i might encounter ?

Thanks

Oh and a supplementry re the sky router booster they fitted so i get a good signal from the two nest boxes i have on line.
if they 'forget' it when i cancel ( i am thinking of going 510mps Vodaphone) would this pick up the signal from to vodaphone router ( save 7.00pm by not using the vodaphone booster

Thanks

I'm not 100% clear on what you're describing, but if you terminate the cables correctly, and then using proper connectors, connect to other cables you should be absolutely fine. Which goes where, as long as you're not trying to turn 2 cables into one connection, or 1 cable into 2... you should be fine.

Do a diagram and take some pics as what you're describing is gobbledygook

Sky q box needs two wideband LNB feeds to work.
