24v DC Relay wanted
Discussion
Hi all, am after a 24v high/low switchable dc-dc solid state single chanbel relay. I have this one
https://amzn.eu/d/hN7HSbu
Which works great but is mechanical and the input is flappy so will eventually wear it out.
I bought this one
https://amzn.eu/d/6OroUX5
But although it says sold state the one i received was mechanical (looked different to be fair).
Amp requirements are low, less than 1a.
Can anyone recommend anything?

Sounds like a mosfet would be what you are looking for. I sure chatgpt or another ai can give you a circuit based on the supply voltage and the switching voltage, ie you have a 24v supply, but what voltage do you want to trigger the turning on of the mosfet.
Between 5v and 24v. Basically I'm taking an input from a open gate indicator(OGI) to tell a Remootio device that it is open. The problem I have is that as the gate opens the OGI flashes asnd therefore opens and closes the relay multiple times. It works fine but I worry that it will prematurely wear out the rlay. A SSR version would therefore be more relaible. If I can't find one I'll just replace it periodically at 4 or 5 quid a go. If it were to fail the only issue I'd have is not being able to remotely know if the gate was open or closed.
