We have a VTEC Globe, like the below, with an electronic pen attached via a lead, that when touched on the globe tells you about the country.

One of them has managed to pull the end tip of the wired in ''smart pen'' out of the pen, and no one is owning up!

I assume this nib, when touched on the globe, creates some form of circuit which triggers the video/explanation (?)

The nib can't be that complex, as it was just a round slightly rubber/plastic one piece. I have no idea how to try & source a replacement - as I don't know what this nib 'is'.

Does anyone have any wisdom, or thoughts on what the material could be (to make a new one) or a sort of replacement I could buy?

Il contact Leapfrog, but I doubt they will offer much as its a couple of years old.

Have you lost the bits or is it just pulled apart? Few ways it could work but none of them complex.

Getting it back together might be tricky though.

I’d try buying a generic tablet stylus pen and seeing if the nib is the same stuff.

Yeah, I’d imagine it’s just a short length of conductive rubber (it’s impregnated with conductive carbon). You’d need the diameter but if you search for conductive rubber cord, you might be ok.
