I have been using Adblock for some time - quite successfully.

I now seems that Youtube videos won't play while I am running Adblock.

Any way round this - apart from the obvious?

Also kills the ads on my local news sites & things like Experian, which are unusable with ads!
Can still airplay to TV too.

Only issue is Firefox and their new data harvesting… frown

Waterfox and uBlock?

My issue with uBlock is it’s not clear what’s going on, the uMatrix UI is much nicer to monitor what’s coming in/getting blocked.

My solution is Librewolf (a Firefox derivative), AdNauseam and a VPN. Adblockers aside, setting your VPN to Albania removes ads as they have strict content laws.

I watch youtube on my TV and am logged in as the user. I use Apple TV as my source which has the Now app and discovery etc.

Is there a way to stop the adverts?

Never tried it myself but Apple is locked down so you need to go through sideloading. Google found this https://www.reddit.com/r/sideloaded/comments/1lgwo...

Otherwise YT Premium
