OK been running Brave for Youtube for a while now. They seemed to have clamped down as every SINGLE clip you hit has the interruptions buffeirng garbage, utterly unwatchable

Is this for others or are they just targetting me? Is there a fix you can try?

Brave on Mac OSX 15.7.4 here. Started to go a bit weird yesterday but Brave did an update today (1.87.188) and it is back to normal.

I am running on WIndows, been fine for ages then recently just about ever clip you touch has the interruptions and buffering, really odd. Will just uninstall and try Forefox.

Probably just the latest development in the ongoing arms race between YouTube and browsers that block their ads. YouTube finds a way to trick the browser into showing them, then the browser gets updated to work around it. It usually doesn't last very long I find.

I have the same issue with my Android Lenovo tablet but not with my HP Windows laptop. YT runs perfect in Brave on the laptop but I've now had to resort to using DuckDuck Go for YT on the tablet as I kept getting error messages. It does utilise a different player which is a bit of a pain but I've got used to it now and don't have to suffer the endless adverts before during and after VT videos.

I have tried everything

Sadly I will have to stop using brave as now it does it on every single clip, even normal YT on Chrome is not that crap.

Google have clearly done a lot of work trying to combat it, even on aggressive mode it makes zero difference
