OpenAI alone has already purchased 40% of all memory being manufactured in the next two years. I'm not holding my breath!

OpenAI is failing very badly. Huge borrowing and spending, it could be bankrupt as soon as next year. So lot's of 2nd hand RAM on the market wink

The whole AI palaver is being held together by pixie dust, fairy farts and happy thoughts.

Question is how long until they run out of fairy farts.

I so wish it would be the mega corps that go bust or at the very least pay the price, unfortunately, it never ss, and it's us normal folk that carry the burden.

The bubble will remain intact for now. Financials aside, it will be propped up by governments and whatever else they can find down the back of the banks sofas. It's not necessarily just a tech race now, it's fast become an arms race, and with companies like Palantir leveraging AI for their "defence" sector work, you know this isn't simply going to pop.

I'll be on DDR4 for years yet!
