CCleaner has now got CCleaner7 out now.

Does anyone use it? I used to use it regularly, but I don't bother now. Should I?

Would it be just as effective to delete browsing data and delete cookies?

I use Fluent Cleaner, CCleaner is too naggy for my liking.
Fluent can be deployed without installation, another plus point for a portable solution.

I didn't think people did this stuff anymore - antivirus etc. It seems like a jump back to 2010

Anecdotally I think this true for a lot of people. As they have more and more of their life data embedded in their phone they take less care of that data.

I use fluent cleaner as well. With the amount of crud chrome and other browers want to store locally it is nice to see that space free again.

You can do almost everything which CCleaner does elsewhere in Windows, that said it's a pretty decent tool for putting it all in one place and does make life easier.

I'd suggest buying a licence for it from one of the various re-sellers, think I got one for about £2 for 12 months, which unlocks the software and driver updater tools as well.

You can use that site and just find whichever is best. By the looks of it £2.70 or something for 12m by using the 50% off voucher. I'd pay by credit card or PayPal but have never had an issue with buying CD keys.
