Hi,

I need some help with OneDrive on Edge.

I take some photos on my iPhone, upload them to OneDrive so I can save them on my computer. Till a couple weeks ago, I used to open the saved photo and drag & drop it into my windows file explorer folder where I want to save it. Now I cant do that as it just moved the photo around the page. Googling didn't help.

I can just download the image, but as its off an iPhone, its a HEIC format and I cant open that on the computer. I installed some extension but that made no difference. You click the download this extension and it wants you to but it (£0.79 but that's not the point).

Any ideas? I've restarted the computer since I first tried and have cleared my cookies / history.

Thanks

Do you mean pictures or videos as the .heic files are videos/movies. You can change the default video file format to H264 which should be more widely compatible.

Pictures. That's what it says when I've saved a photo.

They're Apple Live Photos as said above you can turn this off. they're actually video files as Apple Live Photos let you scrub a few moments either side of the 'Photo'

there are free viewers but going forward turn Live photos off in the camera.

Perfect, that fixed it. I don't use live photos, so odd that it was that. It's off when I take photos, but I clicked on off and then did photos.
