Terminal Services Licensing
Discussion
We are running W2K Server, and we are having problems with Terminal Services.
When I try to log on I get the following message:-
"The terminal server has exceeded the maximum number of allowed connections"
followed by:-
"The system could not log you on. The system has exceeded it's licensed logon limit. Please try again later"
Nobody else is actually logged onto the system.
I thought that TS licences were included with W2K server? (at least 5, anyway. No more than 5 users would be logged on at any one time) I have activated the licence with Microsoft.
Is it possible to buy additional licences, like you can for 2003 server?
The remote computers are running either XP Home of Pro.
Any advice gratefully received!

All the info you need should be here:

Have you checked in Terminal Services Manager that no-one has inadvertently left their session running?
