So I need to get music on to the youngest's iPad for an upcoming 5 hour flight that has no WIFI. I have Spotify premium which I think means I can put it on 2 devices.

I was planning on putting it on his iPad and letting him download a load of music and create his own playlist. However, the music he listens to is absolute dog sh&t to be kind, will it ruin my future playlist suggestions if I let him do this?

Is there another way I can do this?

Sign up to Spotify on a separate e-mail and get 1 month free. His account, doesn't mess with your algorithm etc. Or just go for Premium duo and you can always downgrade, you might find once he uses it he wants an account.

My account is used by the family on various smart speakers.

All our tastes are eclectic.

Combined, the algorithm thinks I have multiple personalities.

You can tell Spotify to exclude a playlist from impacting your recommendations.

On Android, go into the playlist and tap the 3 dots in the top right corner. At the bottom of the menu is an option called "Exclude playlist from your taste profile". I presume the option will be somewhere similar on an Apple device.

they design it to try and push you to a family account. It's kind of like pushing against the tide to do it otherwise.
