Youtube new layout

Is it just me or has Youtube been completely changed?

It’s bloody awful when I’m using Safari or Brave.
The buttons don’t work and I can’t navigate now.
What’s happened?

It's fine for me too (Chrome on Windows). It may be your browsers have done something weird. Clear the browsing cache and cookies maybe, or restart them. It's odd that it's both browsers. If you have access to Chrome or Firefox check that too.

I’m watching it on my ipad.

Oddly, on my PC using Firefox it looks unchanged.

I’ve installed Firefox on my ipad now and it looks unchanged too.

What’s the issue with the toob?

How do I clear cache and cookies on ipad?
I hate Apple btw and struggle with its OS.

At the RHS of the screen there are now 2 columns of queued up videos instead of one.
There's now no option to maximise the main video window without going full screen.
And when you click on comments, instead of showing the comments below, they now appear in the RHS column.
