Gmail DELETE now!

Anyone else have this?

If I delete a message in gmail running on Chrome, and then try to quit the page it says it hasn't finished and needs to reload, and the email will come back again. If I keep doing this it will NEVER delete any messages, they just keep coming backl

And now it is getting worse, it needs about a minute for it to be deleted? Is this cookies or scripts or something?

Have you tried a different browser? Just tried it on my work machine running Edge and it deleted fine.

Mine is a secondary email I rarely use but old emails kept re-appearing after deleting numerous times....... I have just opened each email and deleted each one individually rather than 'selecting all' and deleting......fingers X'd it seems to have worked.

Firefox BTW.

clear your cache on chrome, nine times out of ten dodgy behaviour on chrome is down to a messed up cache

I get this quite often. Irritating, but somehow I seem to move them around (draft/archive/junk etc) and eventually they delete.
