MacBook died. Need replacement.

My mb air died yesterday. Thought it was power but looks like the battery which was an eBay special has gone pop and can’t be bothered with the cost of fixing an i5 based machine.

Looking at cheap used M1s on eBay but know nothing really. Any suggestions? Only used for browsing and odd docs and email.

My M1 Pro 16, Mrs M’s MBA, and my previous 2013 MBP all came from there. All have been perfect - you can’t tell the difference from a new product.
