SSD hard drive failure?

Computer wont boot.
Got back from hols, connected camera to download photos, left it running and came back to the dreaded blue screen.
After a few tries I noticed something flash on the boot process, I had to video to catch it.

Odd thing is, the keyboard was still working, I have tried another and its the same.
It’s a 256gb SSD and a while back I cloned a 1tb HDD, it was so slow I never used it.
Now if I put that in, it boots (v slowly).

Is it maybe the BIOS CMOS coin battery gone flat? Typical fault profile where it was ok but fails when not powered up for a while.

Looks like a BIOS issue, nothing to do with drives. Mr Pointy's suggestion is probably right.

It should boot to BIOS (i.e. without any keyboard errors) without any drives connected at all.

Changing the battery was one of the first things i tried.
After the keyboard flash I get the blue screen with error code 0xc0000225.
I thought it odd that it boots (although very slowly) with another drive.
