Bamboo Studio and Snapdragon Processors

I have been happily 3D printing semi useless objects for about 7 months now. I haven't been doing any of my own designs, but I often tweak designs to suit my requirements and I've been using Bambu Studio to do that.

I've been using an old Dell Latitude laptop which was actually bought as a stop gap. However, this laptop has now died and I'm looking for something else.

I'm drawn to a Asus Zenbook A14 which is equipped with a Snapdragon processor.

Does anyone have any real world experience of using Bamboo Studio with a Snapdragon equipped laptop? I've found a few threads on this topic but they are about 18 months old, so I'm naturally cautious about buying a Laptop only to fond out that I have to send it back two days later because of a lack of compatibility.

However, it's runs fine on my Mac and my standard Windows machine and I cant see why it wouldn't run just fine on the Snapdragon stuff, I haven't got one to hand however if you can wait until Friday I can probably test this out for you.

Unless there is another PH'err running with it in the meantime and I wouldn't surprised if there was

Its widely known that there is compatibility issues with some software on snapdragon equipped machines as they are essentially much newer than intel and AMD, so don't get the same coverage.

My bad on the Bambu spelling! Thanks for the heads up.

I'm still quite tempted to take the plunge as the laptop is a good price and will do everything else I want.

There isn't an ARM native build of Bambu Studio on Windows (or Linux), and apparently there are stability issues with it on ARM running via the compatibility layer.

However, OrcaSlicer is a fork of Bambu Studio and DOES have an official ARM native build, so you could look there. It does support Bambu Labs printers.

Prusa Slicer, which Bambu Labs forked from to create Bambu Studio does also have a native ARM build, on Windows.
