OK, this is bugging me.

An app on my Android phone works on work Wifi, and on data, but never opens properly on home wifi!!

Anyone any ideas

Not Garmin Connect by any chance, is it?

It won't open for me if I have "randomised mac" enabled in my wifi settings.

Try forgetting the WiFi and reconnecting. Try rebooting the home router.

Yes, have tried all that sadly.

Very odd,

Dating sites are often grouped with porn so far as adult filtering is considered, you probably have safe browsing enabled, either in Google itself,in your browser or possibly even in your router settings

Some internet contracts come with adult filtering options enabled, you might need to login to your suppliers website and turn them off? Or as above, there might be a setting on the router, go into settings and have a look around.

Good shout, I use a VPN at times. But the safe search is off, just don't know why this would apply to a phone only

VPN might well do it - the app will likely use your IP to help locate itself and some can only be used in certain countries, so if you're pretending to be from elsewhere then it might well not load correctly.

I don't use it at home much, and only on a PC, again, no idea why that would affect a phone app when I don't use VPN toaccess the app,
