"Missed" calls and Apple Wallet issue

Good morning.
I'm hoping that I'm just being over-cautious here, but some "odd" things have been happening over the last few days.
Has anybody else received a notification from their Apple wallet app asking them to delete and re-input any card details?
My spider-senses are twitching and I suspect a scam - if the Apple wallet app has been hacked you could be giving some AI-bot your card details.
And in other suspicious tech-related matters I keep getting “Missed call” messages from mobile numbers (and one land line number in Carlisle) when my phone hasn’t rung. I suspect some sort of bot harvesting "live" phone numbers. And not for any good or beneficial purpose.
There’s a lot of weird stuff happening right now.
