An account at Gmail.com, Google's email system. Accounts are by invitation of existing account holders.

Its not.

They were testing whether 6 degrees of separation actually worked by intitially only providing 6 people with gmail addresses who all had 6 invites and so on...

Thats cool! Didn't realise that. Thought it was just because its a beta program and they didn't want too many people trying it.

It's now my personal email account. Works so much better than hotmail, gigs of space (2.6gb now) and it groups all your emails with the same subject so its easy to backtrack over prior emails with someone.
