Being a total computer numpty this may seem a fairly daft/straightforward question, but if I write an e-mail and try and put a smiley in it just comes out as an attachment to an external link rather than actually placing the image within the mail. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

Save the smiley to your desktop or somewhere. (Right click - save picture as) In the email, click insert picture. browse for the smiley, select it. Delete the smiley from your desktop.

Thanks guys, might just be my works PC as the format menu will only give me an option for plain & rich text rather than html.
I can copy to something like word and then copy/paste from there but it then loses any animation.

Sensible company to disable HTML. HTML formatted email is a one way for viruses, etc. to get in.
